Field Trial Capabilities
Nature’s Crops International offers a wide range of high quality contract field research services to the agricultural and environmental sectors. NCI has a well-established research station located in Prince Edward Island and offers more than 18 years of experience in conducting field trials throughout Eastern Canada. All trials are performed confidentially, in a timely manner, and with accuracy.
NCI will evaluate agricultural crop inputs to support the development and registration of your agricultural products. NCI has experience in conducting efficacy trials for many different agricultural inputs, in both large and small plot trials. NCI’s agronomists are trained in a number of electronic data collection tools and analysis software (i.e. ARM) and provide a final report for each trial. NCI has experience performing trials with the following.
NCI can also conduct GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) trials throughout Eastern Canada, in almost every crop/pest system in the region. TCI is OECD GLP compliant by the Standards Council on Canada and provide in-house QA services alongside their trial services. NCI’s research station offers the following trials under GLP:
- Crop Residue Trials (RAC/MOR)
- Terrestrial Field Soil Dissipation Studies
Crop Varieties and New Crop Development
NCI’s agronomists are also experienced in conducting trials to compare and evaluate new varieties. NCI can evaluate new crops and develop the agronomic practices required to successfully grow a new variety or crop by conducting the following:
- Variety Comparison
- Crop Development
- Disease Susceptibility
- Herbicide tolerance
- Yield Differences
- On Farm Demonstration
